Trillium Pronaos is an Ottawa-based, fully chartered affiliate of the world wide organization known as the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC.

The mission of Trillium Pronaos is to be a beacon of Light representing the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, and its teachings by offering both:

• public, dynamic, non-judgemental events to enrich the spiritual quest of all sincere mystics and spiritual seekers, as well as,

• members-only, inspiring ritual experiences.

Upcoming Public In-Person Events

Providing inspiring opportunities to learn more about the Rosicrucian (AMORC) philosophy in an informal and friendly setting, Trillium invites all spiritual seekers, whether registered AMORC members or not, to join in at any of the following upcoming public Open House events to be held, unless otherwise indicated, here at Trillium at 41 Rosemount Ave., Ottawa:

• Saturday, Sept 19, 2026 - Mystical Day Event - Current Global Changes and Challenges Impacting Humanity -- Join us for an inspiring and thought‑provoking workshop as we explore the profound transformations unfolding across our world today through a Rosicrucian and mystical perspective. Through meaningful dialogue, visualization, and collective reflection, this workshop seeks not only to better understand the forces shaping our world, but also to illuminate the spiritual courage, wisdom, and compassionate action needed to help create a more enlightened future. This is an opportunity to rise above fear and division, strengthen your inner equilibrium, and embrace your role as a conscious light in a changing world. Just because it is fun to see what a group has been up to earlier in the year...

• Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 7pm - Awakening the Heart of Humanity,  A Rosicrucian Perspective on Duties, Dignity & Spiritual Renewal - At this thought-provoking and inspiring evening event two visionary Rosicrucian documents were explored: the Rosicrucian Declaration of Human Duties and the Appellatio Fraternitatis Rosae Crucis. These modern manifestos offered a compelling call to action for those seeking to live with greater purpose, compassion, and spiritual awareness in today’s complex world.

• Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 7pm - Transforming Habits & Behaviour: A Journey into the Subconscious -- Are your habits shaping your life -- or is life shaping your habits? This Meetup explored methods to consciously transform habits through understanding the mystical workings of the subconscious mind.

• Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 7 pm - The Nine Aspects of the Human Soul -- This particular meetup explored the nine components of the human soul as understood by the ancient Egyptians. A complex system of physical and spiritual elements, from the vital life force to the immortal spirit, essential to the ancient Egyptians for achieving eternal life. The Meetup began with a video, followed by a wonderful group discussion. 

• Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 11 am at Hog's Back Park, Ottawa - Rosicrucian Peace Day -- At this annual event, with guided visualization, sacred readings, and intentional meditation, we channeled our highest aspirations into positive thought-forms aspiring that they beneficially ripple through the collective consciousness of humanity. The goal of this event was that each word, each intention, each moment of inner stillness become a contribution to the global healing we all seek. This was a free, public event which included an opportunity to stay on following the main event to socialize over a light picnic lunch. Thank you to all those who were able to take part!

In-Person Events for AMORC Members only

Local area chapters, such as the Trillium Pronaos here in Ottawa, offer members of AMORC (regardless of which of the world wide Grand Lodge jurisdictions they may be affiliated with) the opportunity to participate in the Great Work of the Order through convocations, group meditations, exercises, workshops and discussions. 

For members of AMORC, Trillium Pronaos normally holds two mystical convocations per month: 

• the first taking place on the evening of the first Tuesday of each month**

• the second occurring on the morning of the third Saturday of each month**

• ** Please note the following exception(s) to these twice monthly convocations:

1. In the month of July each year no convocations are held while Trillium Pronoas and its membership take a summer break.

• please be certain to bring along proof of active AMORC membership (i.e. membership statement showing level of study and active status) as this is required to be permitted access to these members-only mystical convocations

Organizational History and Profile

A local chapter of The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, has been active in the city of Ottawa for now over 70 years.  There were 24 members present at the first meeting held on January 5, 1954, at which time the group originally went by the name, Ottawa Pronaos.  Over time the local membership grew and in 1977 took on the new name, Trillium Chapter.  At that time it met at the Odd Fellows Hall on Somerset Street, but when that building was sold, Trillium group events and convocations moved to Rosemount Hall, located at 41 Rosemount Avenue, Ottawa.   More recently, Trillium transitioned from being a Chapter to a Pronaos, to better reflect its membership numbers and phase of its cycle of growth as a local AMORC affiliated body.
