Submit TOEFL or IELTS scores to College Counselor with a copy.
Update list of colleges/universities where application will be made.
Request your letters of recommendation.

Take SAT test if signed up.
Finalize your college essays.
Complete questionnaire and set up meeting with counselor for your letter of recommendation.
Applications for Oxford or Cambridge/ Medicine/ Veterinarian in the UK are due October 15.
Applications for ED/EA applications are due in October/November.
Register for December SAT Reasoning or Subject test if necessary.
Complete FAFSA and CSS profile

Take SAT if signed up.

US Regular Decision Application due early January

Notify counselor of all communications received from colleges.
February, March, April
Enjoy your final year but do not catch “senioritis”. Senior grades do count!
Notify counselor and recommending teachers of your acceptances and scholarships.
Before May 1
Decide on the one college you will attend. Send in your tuition deposit.
Notify the other colleges that accepted you of your decision to attend elsewhere.
Look for information from the college about housing, roommates, orientation, course selection, etc.
BE PROUD you have completed a difficult task.
May
Take International Baccalaureate exams.
Request that final transcript be sent to the college you will attend.
Request your IB exams results to be sent.
Begin visa process for US/UK.
June
Update transcript one last time.
