AISB requires all students in Grades 9 - 12, who are not in the IB Diploma program, to meet the following requirements:
Complete 4 AISB CAS Learning outcomes.
Successful completion of 2 CAS Self- Reflection Interviews with the student's advisor at the end of each semester.
Advisor comments on your CAS and CAS Interview will be included in your transcript comments.
Here is the link to your CAS Plan for 2020/2021 . This plan will need to be completed by the end of September. Your advisor will give you a specific September due date.
What kinds of experiences 'count' for CAS? What are some examples?
Creativity: Model United Nations, CEESA Speech+Debate, High School Musical, AISB Art Club, Bandarlog literary magazine, AISB Writing Club, CEESA Band or choir , private music lessons or any creative type activity outside of school.
Activity: AISB School Sports Teams, weight room at AISB or any fitness or sport activity that you do outside of school.
Service: AISB Service Clubs, School service trips and events, Service with your family, Volunteering in the community.
What does NOT count for CAS?
If you get paid, it's not CAS
Being tutored in an academic subject does not count for CAS
Family responsibilities (like walking the dog) does not count for CAS
