Daily Schedule

Take notes on theme as you watch the movie and read the text.

Video time limitations: 3 minute minimum, 6 minute maximum

Overall Steps:

• • Choose your theme

  • Find AT LEAST 10 examples to support this.

    • Need at least 3 direct quotes, 2 summarizing, and 2 paraphrasing

    • Must use in-text citations (MLA format)

    • Must have a Works Cited page (MLA format)

  • Can use examples from the movie and the text

• Create your script

• Film/record

• SUBMIT!

Day 1:

• • Meet your group

  • Decide on your theme(s) -- may choose one or two

    • Don't sacrifice quality for quantity

  • Find AT LEAST 10 examples total (combination of play and film) to support this AND KEEP TRACK OF WHERE THEY CAME FROM

    • Need at least 3 direct quotes, 2 summarizing, 2 paraphrasing (decide which to use for remaining 3)

Day 2:

• • Check theme w/ Bomstad before moving on

  • Talk "big ideas" for project

    • locations, characters, etc.

  • Create script with in-text citations

    • include all textual examples

Day 3 (Computer access):

• • Start filming

  • Work on in-text citations

  • Type script

Day 4 (Computer access):

• • Finish any needed filming

  • Edit any needed filming

  • Edit script

  • Send final video to Bomstad

  • Print script and give to Bomstad
