Searching:

    • If you wish you use a .com (or another domain), must present reason to Bomstad and have idea cleared.

  • Need 5 credible sources total

2/12: LAB: decide on two points for and rebuttal, research and find info

• • create a basic outline of your 2 points for and your 2 rebuttals (printed out)

  • start a Google Doc to keep info found on sites

  • keep track of where your info is coming from (copy and paste hyperlink into Doc with info)

2/13: 2 main points and two rebuttals DUE by start of class

• • Can do this during lab time on 2/12

  • Hand write on sheet of paper

  • Create an outline that looks like this:

2/20: ROUGH DRAFT DUE on turnitin.com by start of class

• Must have all pieces (intro, mp1, mp2, rebuttal-2 opps+your arg, & conclusion)

• Must have in-text citations (only hyperlinks/URLS in parentheses required for this draft)

2/21: Peer edit

• Edit in class on printed version of text

2/24: LAB: work on final draft

• Fix in-text citations

2/25: FINAL DRAFT DUE on turnitin.com by start of class

• Must have all pieces plus works cited

• Must have in-text citations (legitimate MLA citation-- author last name or organization)

2/27: Practice speech in class in front of peers

3/4: SPEECH DAY!

• Dress up
