Course Description:

The scope of this course includes an in-depth study of biological

research and how it applies to the major areas of biology.

The class will be divided into three subcategories of biology:

• Microbiology (biochemistry, cell, viruses, bacteria, genetics, etc.)

• Macrobiology (Plant, Animal, Anatomy, Physiology and Taxonomy)

• Megabiology (ecological concepts as related to abiotic and biotic factors)

Students will be responsible for their own independent research as one of the course requirements. Students will participate in laboratory activities, discussions and problem solving exercises.
