Theatre 1
Course Description:
This is a survey of theatre with an emphasis in acting performance. Students will be required to do multiple individual and group performances. Classwork focuses on the exploration of theatre genre, beginning acting/performance, theatrical terminology, historical and cultural connections, and technical requirements. Prerequisite: High School Choir, participation in a school or community theatre production.
Optional Theatre Opportunities:
Thespian Club - Drama club. No audition required for participation. Meets 3rd Thursday from 3:45-4:45PM in F204. Special speakers and activities
Productions - Fall play - auditions early fall (Aug. 26, 30 for 2022); Musical - auditions in December
