About Me

I am originally from Springfield, Missouri. My family and I moved to Colorado in 2000. I have been directing the choirs at Legacy since 2001. In addition, I am the school’s Thespian Troupe (drama club) sponsor and Director/Producer of all of the theatrical productions at Legacy. This year, I will begin teaching the THEATRE I class in the spring. Professionally, Mrs. Stacks has served on the CHSAA Music committee and has also served as Membership Chair for the Colorado ACDA. Mrs. Stacks holds a Master of Music degree with choral studies under such nationally known conductors as Dr. Milburn Price and Dr. John Dickson. She also holds Music Education degrees from Southwest Baptist University and Missouri State University.

I enjoy playing golf in addition to serving with my husband, Eric, as Pastors of Small Group Ministry at Genesis Church in Thornton. Also, I am a judge for the CHSAA music festivals held throughout the state. My husband, Eric, directs the choir program at Mead High School in Mead, CO. In addition, he is a private voice instructor and our technical director/set builder for all of our drama productions and orchestral director for the Legacy Musical. I have 3 children (Tyler who graduated in 2011, Morgan who graduated in 2013, and Macy who graduated in 2015). In addition, I have a sweet dog named Jackson and two grand-dogs named Fred and Dexter.
