Important items to note:
Sessions will start promptly at the designated time. Students will have until the end of the session window to complete their essay responses. If a student shows up late to a session, they will be admitted, but they will not be allowed to work past the session end time.
Students may not bring pre-completed responses to the session and may not access email or any electronic devices during the session.
Students will be allowed to submit only one set of responses to the prompts.
Students must know their email, address, and parent contact info (email and phone number) in order to complete the session.
There is no need to sign up for a session - just show up.
Each essay response has a recommended approximate word length of 200 - 300 words. We are not counting words though. This recommendation is mainly to let applicants know that we are looking for more than a couple of sentences, but are not expecting multiple pages of writing for responses. Think, "one or two nice meaty paragraphs."
The application process will be based on two factors
Freshman grades and overall performance.
