Early Childhood Educator - RECE
Position: Registered Early Childhood Educator- RECE Teacher
Location: Ottawa, ON
Status: Full-Time/ Part-Time
Reporting: School Principal
MAC Preschool and Childcare center is licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. We offer a full-service high-quality program run by qualified Early Childhood Educators. Our educators provide an Islamic curriculum that is age-appropriate, enjoyable and stimulating. The daily planned activities include Arabic, literacy, numeracy, Science, and Quran stories offering an Islamic education for toddler and preschool children.
Our teachers provide an Islamic preschool curriculum that is age-appropriate, enjoyable and stimulating. The daily planned activities will have a balance of teacher directed and child-directed experiences throughout the day.
Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education Diploma.
Current Registration with Ontario's College of ECE
1-2 years of experience
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English
Good technical and computer skills
Ability to work within a team, with integrity, enthusiasm, initiative and confidence
Interpersonal skills with an emphasis on compassion, patience and professionalism
Previous experience teaching in licensed child care programs as an asset
Sound knowledge of Islamic faith and practice
First Aid/CPR Certificate.
Current police records check.
Compensation:
