Band Teacher Bio

Mrs. Acy moved back to the Fox Valley in 2017 after spending two years teaching high school band in Oklahoma City. During the 2019-2020 school year, she will be teaching band at James Madison Middle School, Richmond Elementary School and Foster Elementary School. Mrs. Acy is also the conductor of the Lawrence Academy Symphonic Band, a concert band comprised of some of the finest young musicians in the Fox Valley Area. Mrs. Acy attended Sheboygan Falls High School and graduated from Lawrence University with degrees in Instrumental Music Education and Flute Performance. Aside from teaching and performing music, her favorite activities include, camping, hiking, cooking, and playing with her miniature schnauzer, Kona.
