Badge Placement

Badge Placement
Any Staged Badges (on light blue backgrounds) can move from one section uniform to the next with only the highest number for each stage badge being re-used. The Name Tape, District Badge, Membership (round purple) badge and Joining In (small coloured squares) can also be moved or can be purchased as replacements. We also encourage those who have earnt their Chief Scout Bronze or Silver to move these on to the badge sleeve of their next section uniform. FUN badges should never be worn on uniform - these are for camp blankets or sweatshirts
Our bank details for subs or event payments are:
5th/9th Chelmsford
20-45-45 03334414
Some banks will struggle with either the" / " or the gap between "words" so you might have to play for your particular app or bank !
Subs are due by second week of each term and are £40 per child. If you are having any difficulty finding subs or event fees, PLEASE speak to your section leader - there are always options
Our Scout scarves are worn slightly differntly to some other groups. The scarf should be rolled so that the green side is on the right and the blue side is on the left. To help remember this, we teach the young people to look at the second letter in each color's name: 'r' for green (right) and 'l' for blue (left).
Once the scarf is correctly positioned, we place the section woggle on the right side, while fun woggles can be worn on the left. To keep things tidy and prevent woggles from getting lost, we tie our scarves in a friendship knot. Not only does this method keep everything in place, but it also adds a touch of camaraderie and makes wearing the scarf a bit more special.
Thank you for helping maintain this tradition and for keeping our Scouts looking their best!
