Welcome to Humanities I

Hello Humanities Students,

This Spring we will explore the foundations of studying and learning through reading and writing. We will approach different topics of the humanities by looking through the various lenses of literature, works of non-fiction, essays, short stories, poetry, the media, and different art forms. We will discuss philosophy, literature, sociology, drama, political science, psychology, and history through the readings we complete. You will be asked to read challenging texts on a consistent basis, write about them, and participate in frequent discussion about the topic.
