Science: Water and Climate

Weather and Climate Weather is the activity taking place in the atmosphere at any given time and place. It’s determined by the amount of heat, movement, and moisture in the atmosphere. If the amount of heat is modest, the movement slight, and the moisture negligible, we judge the weather to be good and don’t think about it. If one of the variables is excessive, however, we fret about it and plan around it. Thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, and droughts can dominate our lives. What causes those radical swings in weather?
