Conference sign ups look amazing in Parent Square. You can add your dates and available times and even schedule in your breaks and dinner times. For families, signing up takes only a few taps and they can pick their preferred times and even add a note if they have any questions. You can easily add in people manually or delete appointments if people are unable to attend. Check out this clip on how to get started and have your families sign up for conferences
If you hear a student is having trouble signing in with Clever, here are two quick things to try to see if they can help them get back on the right track. If not, have the student restart their device and put in a tech ticket if they are still having trouble.
Private mode allows for searching that will not be recorded in the iPad's saved browser history (not recommended for students). When it is turned on, students will see a dark bar across the address bar. It prevents students from signing in to Clever, Seesaw, and other sites students may need. It's a good thing to check if students are having trouble.
If your students have reported issues playing your video.link clips, there are two steps to helping it run smoothly. 1. Change one small setting in Safari, and 2. refresh the webpage in Safari. After refreshing, it should play just the way it used to.
If your students have their 4J Google permission slips signed and turned in, and would like to sign into Google Apps. They can do so by signing into Google Drive (one time) and it should keep them signed in until they decide to sign out. It will sign them into all apps at once.

If your students will be recordings passage reading fluency samples, the arrow tool is a great resource! It is available in the bottom right corner of the page in Seesaw, any time you use the record (mic) from the left sidebar. It's a great tip for letting students tell you about their work and can be a fun tool for teachers too if you are creating a recording to share an example with students and want to let them see where to look.

Airdrop is a fast way to transfer photos and videos from your iPad to your computer.
To start using Epic with Clever, you will need to create a free educator account on Epic. Our Epic icon on Clever will remember students' passwords once they have signed in, but creating student accounts and setting PINs for students takes place on the Epic website. Here are some quick clips to get you started. After your accounts are ready to go, share your Epic Class Code with your students as an announcement on your Clever page.

From Clever when signed in as a teacher, select students from lefthand sidebar, then select Student Roster. From there you will see a download option in the center righthand side of the page.
Student Clever badges are also still available on Google Drive in the Shared Drive section in the Student Login Handout folder. Be sure to never leave those out where they can be viewed by other students.

If you need to share a quick update with students about important items to have for class, schedule changes (A Week/B Week), Zoom Session ID for meetings and much more, feel free to add a quick message that will appear at the top of your Clever Teacher Page.

Each time students open a page in Safari, it will open a new tab for them. There is a quick and easy way to close them all at the same time.
If you would like to show students a game they will be playing without logging in as a student, you can access the games as a teacher from the "Assignment" tab inside Dreambox. Please note you will be showing the game students will see, so feel free to preview the game with them but not show them the entire lesson.
