Connecting an AUX Device

This guide shows you how to connect aux devices that have a 3.5mm mini jack/headphone socket to the sound system. This includes:

• Laptops

• Smart Phones

• Tablets

• MP3/Music Players

• Etc

If the aux device does not have a 3.5mm mini jack/headphone socket, you will need to provide an adaptor to connect it to the sound system. Theatre@41 doesn't have any adaptors available.

Bluetooth isn't available.

Before you Start:

Please take care and follow the instructions exactly when connecting up equipment - if connected up wrong, the sound system won't work and equipment damage could occur, even if the connectors seem to fit properly.

Deciding how to make the connection

If the aux device is to be positioned close to the sound desk, read the ‘making a direct connection’ guide.
