High School Civics Project (2) - Focus on United States

Students in US History will research the historical context, present, and reflect on a current issues that impacts civics.  This may include topics on elections, court cases, or social justice.

1. Examine the community to identify a civic issue (problem) facing you, or your school or your community.

2. Analyze a civic issue (problem) in your school or community.

3. Identify the cause of the civic issue. 

4. Generate alternative solutions to address this civic issue.

5. Evaluate alternative solutions.

6. Develop strategies and solutions.

7. Taking Informed Action

9. Capstone Project Presentation
