Please follow the instructions below to access Google Classroom using your nycstudents.net login.
Go to TeachHub
Enter your DOE student account email (it ends in @nycstudents.net)
If you don't know your DOE student account email, visit DOE Student Accounts
Enter your password.
Click Sign In.
If the username and password entered are correct, you will be signed into the remote learning portal successfully.
Click on the Google Classroom icon.
Now you are in Google Classroom!
To support students at home, the school has provided access to online instructional resources that tailor supports to your child’s specific needs:
I-Ready: To access iReady, students need to log into TeachHub with their DOE Student account. Once in Teachhub, click on the blue square labeled "Clever". Once in Clever, select i-Ready.
It is recommended that students use this 30 - 40 minutes a week in ELA and Math. Certificates will be awarded to students who meet this goal.
Raz-Plus (aka Raz-Kids): Each student has an individual account on this website. Each account provides access to online books/literature.
To access Raz-Kids go to Raz-Kids.com
Click on Kids Login (green button)
Enter teacher’s name
Click your child’s name
Enter student’s password
For families in the Dual Language program only, students will continue to have access to literature in Mandarin through iChinese reader (https://ichinesereader.com).Please be sure to have your child’s username and password.
Device requests: Families can notify us of your technology needs via https://coronavirus.schools.nyc/RemoteLearningDevices. DOE iPads will be distributed based on high-need priorities such as vulnerable populations (e.g., students in temporary housing (STH), foster care), and students who lack internet connectivity at home. Parents can also contact the DIIT helpdesk https://www.nycenet.edu/technicalsupportforfamily for assistance.
