The first day of school is Thursday, September 4, 2025.
It is especially important to teach your child his/her class code prior to coming to school. Class codes are a three-digit number. Most of the codes have the first number representing the grade of the class. i.e., second grade classes are 201, 202, 203
Parents should have received their child’s class code on their June report card.
If you have not received the report card, parents can find the report card on their My Student account.
If you are new to the John Golden family, do not worry! There will be staff greeting families at the door to provide class codes if needed.
Please make sure your child can provide his/her first and last name, as it appears on the school records.
Please make sure all clothing, bookbags, supplies, lunchboxes, and water bottles are labeled with your child's name. All school supply lists are posted on the school’s website homepage. For students in grades 1-5, students should only bring schools supplies that they can carry independently. It is perfectly fine to bring in supplies across multiple days.
