Class Parents/Class Party Guidelines
We want to welcome parents as partners into our school building. Our school continues to meet CDC guidelines. Once we are permitted to do so, we look forward to inviting parents and families to as many events in school as possible!
There will be two class parents per class, selected by the classroom teachers by the end of September.
Collections for parties: maximum $10 contribution*.
If parents cannot contribute due to financial challenges, they are welcome to speak with the teacher. No child should be excluded due to financial difficulties.
Before any party occurs, class parents or teachers on the same grade will meet and agree on the contribution for each party. It must all be the same.
Class parents are responsible for
• Creating a class directory of all parents.
• Recruiting volunteers to help with parties.
• Collecting all receipts for parties.
Pending CDC guidelines, all parents are welcome at class parties.
We will try to give every parent that wants to come on a class trip the opportunity to join us at least once. The responsibility of class chaperones will be rotated to include as many parents as possible.
