Joon-Sung Yang

He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 2003, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Texas, Austin, in 2007 and 2009, respectively.  

Dr. Yang was with Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, Korea from 2013 to 2019, where he joined initially as an Assistant Professor and later served as an Associate Professor. From 2009 to 2013, he worked at Intel, Austin, TX (LPIA team: Low Power Intel Architecture team) focusing on DFx features in SoCs.  He was also with NAND Flash design team, Samsung from 2003 to 2005.  During the summer in 2007 and 2008, he was with Qualcomm, San Diego, CA and Intel, Hillsboro, OR.

Dr. Yang received Korea Science and Engineering Foundation (KOSEF) Scholarship in 2005 and the Best Paper Awards at the 2008 IEEE International Symposium on Defect and Fault Tolerance in VLSI Systems and at the 2016 IEEE International SoC Design Conference.
