In 2022, just one year from now, HagueHash will turn 40 and already we are contemplating a weekend to mourn our old age. Where it is going to be? Doubling up as DNH2022 ?

Because of the Coronavirus it is not possible to have a normal run. The mismanagement is aware of it.
We will continue to have runs but we follow these measures:-
1 or 2 Hares will set a run which will be there for 4 till 5 days.
(Starting point set as usual but no time. )
All Hashers can do the run individually or with 1 other Hasher, max 2 People. Enter in our Hague Hash Whatsapp group what time you will do the run. Allow at least 10 minutes between you and the next pair of runners on that day. Hare(s) will try to maintain the run until the specified date. Hashers should take a photo of themself or themselves on the run and post it on the Whatsapp group. If you don't have those facilities, email me. The run will be counted and credited to you.

Social distancing 1.5 metres no longer required, but a Corona pass will be required if going into a bar or restaurant, or if using public transport
New relaxed Corona rules will apply from 19th May 2021! .....
The Dutch government has laid out the next step in the relaxation of the Corona rules. For the Hash, a maximum of a group of 30 people will be allowed, everyone 1.5 meters apart. Next Sunday (May 23, 2021), start time for all is 14:00 with a circle at the end. In order not to attract too much attention from the police etc., only one crate of beer will be on display at a time!
The first summer run will be Wednesday evening May 26, 2021 at 7:00 PM as usual.

Car parking is free on Sundays in the little car park, in the street at Nieuwe Plantage or along the canal over the little bridge
Public transport: Tram 1 stops at "Nieuwe Plantage", right next to the start.
Good to know: Almost an all old fashioned Hash. There will be no trail before Sunday 14:00 - we all run together! (Social distancing 1.5 metres still applies)
Extra info: At the start point is the mysterious grave of Louis XVII; the fake heir to the French throne
Note: Run 2154 was the last route organised under the Corona rules brought in 15 December 2020 . These specified a limit of 2 Hashers per group, and no circle after the run. Corona rules were relaxed from 19 May 2021

Detailed directions:
Take Bezuidenhoutseweg direction Wassenaar.Pass the royal palace. At the 2nd lights continue straight on. Bend to the left and go right at motel Bijhorst onto the Rijksstraatweg S101/N44. Continue watch out for speeding several camera’s there. At traffic lights Den Deijl go left onto Lange Kerkdam at roundabout first right then go left onto the Van Zuylen van Nijeveldstaat. Follow road after some distance the street will be narrow with trees next to the road. Follow that street at the roundabout at the end second street uphill direction Wassenaarseslag. Follow that road after a few km you will find the parking place at your right. The start is opposite the entrance of “de Kuil”

Nieuwe Driemanspolder. Take a left on Leidschendamseweg (direction Zoetermeer), before the rusty bicycle bridge, park at first parking on your left. Start of the run is on the left far corner of the parking, by the info map.

Run 2137 - The Solleveld Run - To boldly go.....
These are the voyages of the Hague Hash House Harriers. Their thirty-nine year mission: To explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no Hasher has gone before!

Good to know: This is a walk in a hash-virgin area, the recently opened Solleveld, a beautiful dune area between the beach and the Sollebos. This is a restricted area and every hasher requires a day pass to be obtained online at https://tickets.dunea.nl/nl/solleveld/tickets
EURO 2 for adults, EURO 1 for members with ZHL- (South Holland Landscape Supporters Discount - 3 additional reduced introductions are allowed). The trail goes through a very precious area. The hares will not set any markings in the Solleveld to preserve it's pristine and fragile character. The rest of the trail will be marked in sawdust and chalk arrows.
