Well water 

Please note that the cottage is supplied by well water. The water goes through a high-tech water softener which makes the cottage tap water soft. You won’t need as much soap (dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc) as you would with harder water.

Tap water is safe to drink. You can alternatively use the filtered water located by the large kitchen sink for a better taste.

There are many benefits to use soft water, for example, it’s easier on your skin and hair, and it can prolong the life of your clothes.
