Field Operations

June's issue of QST has several interesting articles about Field Day.

On the net this week, we'll talk about field operations and various games that rely on field operations, such as Summits on the Air and of course Field Day! Practicing field operations lends itself very well to emergency communications. The Western Colorado Amateur Radio Club is going to host a Field Day site. Details on location will follow. Please plan to attend the WØRRZ Club Meeting on Saturday, June 10 at 9:30 am at the Civil Air Patrol Building at the airport. (Be through the gate between 9:00 and 9:20) For questions about the meeting and to get through the gate, feel free to reach out on the 146.94 repeater that morning.
