This week we will be reviewing for Friday's test.

Students will need to .....

• identify the compound predicate of sentence.

• identify whether or not a sentence has a compound predicate.

• identify the simple predicate(s) in a sentence.

• identify sentences with a direct object.

• identify the direct object of a sentence.

• identify compound direct objects in a sentence (more than 1 direct object).

• identify a subject complement.

• identify the simple subject complement (one) or compound subject completements ( more than one) in a sentence.

• identify a subject complement and label it noun or adjective.

• identify compound sentences.

• identify a sentence as a run-on or correctly written.

Test Friday, November 3rd

Go over pages 14-25 in the text book and pages 11-16 in the workbook.
