Week of December 4th

This week we will:

• identify possessive nouns

• form singular possessive and plural possessive nouns

Monday, December 11th - 

We discussed Plural Possessive nouns.  --- Video linked in Google Classroom

      Singular Possessive Noun --- add 's to form 

Plural Possessive Noun: 

 Rule #1:  If the plural form of the noun ends in an "s",  just add an apostrophe ( ' ).

                                          The teachers' desks are new.

Rule # If the plural form of the noun does not end in an "s", add apostrophe s  ('s). 

                          The children's toys were all over the floor.

Tuesday, December 12th

We continued to discuss Plual Possessive Nouns.  Together, we completed exercises 1 and 2 on pages 38-39 of the textbook.   The students wrote the answers in their notebooks.
