Title: 22nd Workshop on Aggression – Call for submissions

Dear colleagues and members of the Workshop on Aggression,

It is our great pleasure to announce the call for submissions of the 22nd Workshop on Aggression 2017.

The theme:

The theme of this year’s Workshop is “Contemporary perspectives on aggressive behavior: Exploring trends across the lifespan”. The conference will aim to present the latest research and stimulate interdisciplinary research mainly in the fields of (a) conventional and cyber forms of aggression, (b) personality and environmental factors of aggression, (c) neuroscience and aggression and (d) prevention and intervention programs of aggression.

General information:

· 22nd Workshop on Aggression, 2017: Thursday 23rd – Saturday 25th of November, Limassol, Cyprus

· The program consists primarily of presentations selected through this open call for submissions based on a peer-review process, as well as invited speaker sessions

Submission procedure and policies:

1. Submission is open to all proposals, regardless of academic discipline and methodology.

2. Submissions are accepted online at https://sites.google.com/view/22nd-workshop-aggression-2017/

3. Submissions must arrive by the deadline. The submission system opens on June the 15th, 2017, and closes on September the 15th, 2017, 23:59 Eastern European Time. No late submissions will be accepted, unless otherwise announced. Presenters will be notified for the Scientific Committee’s decision by October the 2nd, 2017.

4. Types of submission accepted: The 22nd WA 2017 will accept three types of submissions: (a) individual paper, (b) individual poster, and (c) session submission. An individual paper submission is one paper with one or more authors for presentation at a paper session. A poster submission is one paper with one or more authors for presentation in a poster format. A session submission could be one of the following: a fully planned symposium session involving multiple presentations (usually three or four) and/or participants, a demonstration/performance, a structured poster session, a working group round-table, and a workshop.

5. Word limits: Abstract submissions should not exceed 250 words and session submissions should not exceed 500 words for session summary. References, Tables, Figures and Charts should be added to the end of the document and are not included in the word count.

6. What should be included in a submission: Each paper/presentation summary in the session must address and will be reviewed on the following six elements:

a) Objectives or purposes

b) Perspective(s) or theoretical framework

c) Methods, techniques, or modes of inquiry

d) Data sources, evidence, objects, or materials

e) Results and/or substantiated conclusions or warrants for arguments/point of view

f) Scientific or scholarly significance of the study or work

In the case of symposium submissions all abstracts with the respective authors must be submitted at the "abstract/s" section.

7. Participant registration and attendance requirement: All presenting authors of accepted papers are expected to register and attend the 22nd Workshop on Aggression, 2017. Submission is a commitment to do so. The registration fees for early bird - by October 30th, 2017; 23:59 EET - will be €80 for students and €150 for non-students. After this date fees will be €100 for students and €200 for non-students
