Luigi Schirone is a professor of Electronics at the Scuola di Ingegneria Aerospaziale of Sapienza University of Rome. He is the coordinator of the Aerospower Laboratory.

His research activity is mainly focussed on electronic technologies for power/energy management. He also works in the field of sustainability and participates in research about electronic materials and devices.

He is author/co-author of nearly 150 scientific publications.
