Meet the Teacher

I am very excited for another year of teaching at St. Clair School! This will be my 12th year of teaching science and I'm looking forward to teaching in a brand new science classroom!

I am originally from Avon Park, a very small town in Central Florida.  I moved to Mankato in 2007 and graduated from Minnesota State University in 2011.  I have taught elementary through high school science and STEM classes over the past 12 years. 

I live in Eagle Lake with my husband and three children.  Paige (6th grade), Parker (4th grade), and Griffin (1st Grade), are all attending St. Clair School.  Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with my family and friends, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and learning new things. 

I hope to instill a love of learning and discovery in all of my students and to inspire them to keep questioning, searching, problem-solving, and persevering.
