A CONFIRMATION CLASS WITH LAUREN

Year Six is learning all about the Journey of Life in their RE lessons. They have been looking at all the milestones they may come to in their own lives, as well as those celebrated in Christianity. As the faith they are studying this term is Christianity it seemed like an ideal opportunity for a visit from one of our friends at St Stephen's Church. Lauren, the Children's Pastor, a regular at our Tuesday Church assemblies, gave both classes a great lesson on what confirmation means in the Anglican church and what the service entails. She also compared and contrasted with the catholic faith. Thank you Lauren.

Parents Supporting Neurodiverse Young People

(led by Achieving for Children)

Wednesday 2nd November, 12pm - 1pm

Online via Zoom

Learn about support available for parent carers to young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), with opportunity to ask questions and connect with other parents. The link between neurodiversity, SEND and mental health is apparent and we recognise how important it is to hold space for those supporting young people who are experiencing this co-morbidity.
