HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL ON RE DAY

Our RE Co-ordinator, Tanya Blomley tells us all about this special day, check out our little pictorial round-up below ...

On Tuesday we had such a wonderful day celebrating RE day. It was a special day where the whole school united with St Stephen's Church to celebrate our theme of 'hope' and how we can show hope collectively and as individuals. The day started with a whole school assembly led by Lauren and Rachel from St Stephen's church. They ignited our theme of hope through music, stories and prayer. After assembly, all year groups had the opportunity to ask a member of St Stephen's church questions they had for God. It was wonderful to watch pupil's embracing their desire to understand and question the world around them. RE day continued with stories and activities led by St Stephen's church which enabled pupils to build upon their understanding of the word hope, how they can find hope from within and give hope to others. We reminded pupil's of how using our school values can support with giving ourselves or other people hope. We want to give thanks to all the staff who joined us from St Stephen's church for a truly memorable day.
