Hunger Walk Raises over $7K

Over 55 walkers braved a cool spring afternoon to raise over $7,000 in donations for our World Hunger charities. In addition to our participants of all ages, walkers included fifteen youth under 18 who met a " young walkers challenge" by a anonymous donor who matched any youth donations in excess of $100; increasing our youth participation / excitement and graciously contributing an additional $1,500 to the 2015 walk proceeds. We thank all of our walkers and sponsors for a very successful walk and braving the chilly Sunday air to support those in need.
