New Ph.D. thesis dealing with vegetation classification methods

Stephen Bell (Eastcoast Flora Survey, Australia) recently finished his Ph.D. thesis entitled "Defining and mapping rare vegetation communities: improving techniques to assist land-use planning and conservation". The thesis includes interesting proposals for vegetation sampling schemes. Stephen did his Ph.D. studies at the School of Environmental and Life Sciences (University of Newcastle, Australia).
