Mills Breast Cancer Institute Weekly Music Series - Discontinued

We extend sincere thanks to the patients, staff, doctors, performers, friends, and fans who supported the mission of the music series from 2007-12, and continue to contact us inquiring when the music series will resume. They let us know how much the series is missed and how it made such a positive impact on their lives. This is most reassuring after five years of 190 programs and 7 benefit concerts. The mission of the weekly free performances, on Thursdays from noon to 12:45pm in the atrium, served to be uplifting, inspiring, soothing, distracting from daily stress & medical concerns, and made all who entered the MBCI feel welcome and comfortable in the environment.

Supporting the Music Series: The Music Series was supported by private donations, hundreds of paid and volunteer performers, and 600+ hours of volunteer support staff.

Your Feedback is welcome: Please let the Carle Foundation and private sponsors know how much the series benefited patients, family members, staff, the community, & what it meant to you. Send your positive feedback and words of appreciation to vcello1@comcast.net.
