Donkey Daze was Dazzling!

On Saturday, February 26, 2010, 63 humans and 14 donkeys of various sizes gathered to see what the critters were capable of-other than just looking cute. Led by Bob Brennan and assisted by Meg Birney, Sue Brennan, and Larry Clark, each donkey got an introduction to harnessing and most moved on to pulling a cart. Their owners were also given basic driving instruction. Taking a break for a pizza lunch, final workouts were given in the afternoon. This "introduction" workshop was well-received and all participants are encouraged to continue with professional training for their donkeys and themselves. We hope to see more "long ears" on the road!
