Rev. Co'Relous C. Bryant
Pastor

Co'Relous was born in the small town of Perry, Florida, home to around 5,000, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended NYU for his B.A. focusing in theater and political science, spent a few years in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors, until he gave in to his call to ministry and attended Emory University for his Master's in Divinity, where he focused on homiletics, the art of preaching; this led to his love and extreme reverence for the "preaching moment." He is loving, extremely outgoing, and is a joy to be around. We are extremely excited for what the future might hold as Co'Relous shifts into the pastorship of our small town, a big change from the hustle and bustle of East Harlem Manhattan! You can learn more about Rev. Bryant at www.corelous.com. Co'Relous joined us officially as pastor in August of 2023.

Judy Brown    Administrative Assistant and Choir Director

Judy has been Lincoln Church’s administrative assistant (aka Church mother) since 2000. She has been a member of the United Church of Lincoln since 1983, when she and Jim were married. Over the years, she has enjoyed serving as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, working on Vacation Bible School, singing in the choir, Youth Group leader, Financial Secretary and working on various maintenance projects. These days her spare time is spent enjoying her three grandchildren – Hailey, Nora and Lucas and driving the school bus.

What Judy appreciates most about this church is the atmosphere of questioning and learning and its commitment to missions and outreach.  It is truly a family where people are supported and celebrated.

Judy has recently stepped in to fill the role of Choir Director while we are without. We truly appreciate Judy and all the miracles she performs around this church. We wouldn't be operating without her!

Timothy Jaqua                  Pianist & Organist

UCoL Pianist/organist and accompanist for choir since the early 2000s. Tim retired as a critical care nurse after thirty years in the profession, including 13 years in New York City at a very large teaching hospital. Tim moved to VT in 1992 and joined UCOL in September of 2003.

Tim received his gift of music from his mother, Carolyn, and God. Music has been a focal point of his life with Tim beginning to play piano at the age of 7. At the age of 11 he played in a production of “Oklahoma” and the music director declared “Tim’s the only one who can play the score!” At this same time, he became the organist at his home church in Ohio. This led Tim to begin seriously studying piano at age 14 while attending the School of Music in Pottsdam, NY with Dolores Johnson PhD (college level). He also studied jazz piano and transposition with Meryl Smith – a jazz composer and bassist in NYC. Tim racked up over 10 years of classical piano training during this period. He would go on to graduate from Kent State University in 1979 with a BSN (Nursing) and attended graduate school for 2 years at Hunter College in NYC where he enrolled in a Master’s Degree program as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. However, it was opportunities like vocal coaching, rehearsal pianist, offering private lessons, cabaret acts accompanying vocalists, and recording session pianist that saw Tim split his time as that of nurse and musician.

Wyatt Moyer A/V Technologist

Wyatt is a current student at Mt. Abraham Union High School in Bristol. He has been attending church since he was a very little child thanks to his grandmother. Wyatt became an integral part of the tech and A/V team in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic when he assisted in the production and pre-recording of services. Since then, Wyatt has become an even more integral part of the A/V team, attending church every Sunday in the eagle’s nest up in the balcony. In addition to his work with the A/V system, Wyatt assists in every way possible, from setting up second-hour and communion before church, serving on the Pulpit Committee and as the Church Clerk, to even preaching… not once, but three times! While not in church, he loves video games, his two dogs, and hanging out with his partner in crime, a.k.a.: grandfather. Wyatt believes in Divine Providence — that God is in control of everything around us — and continually attempts to hold firm to the promise that “You shall not die, but live, and declare the good deeds of the Lord.” You can read some of Wyatt's writings at theinsightfulintrovert.com.

Wyatt is a dedicated and faithful volunteer of our church.
