We pride ourselves in developing relationships with our customers allowing us to truly understand your needs and identify training solutions that are right for you.

Why SDF?

As SDF you will be responsible for the development and planning of a company or group of companies, skills development strategy for a specific period. This will include the development and implementation of an annual ATR/WSP and the submission of the training reports.

You will serve as a valuable resource to the employer with regard to the criteria required for accreditation of courses, skills programmes and learnership development.

"MICT Seta has decided that all SDFs (and ISDFs) must either have a degree or must have done an SDF training programme. Please note that this will be compulsory for the 2013 submission, failing which the 2013 ATR/WSP submission will not be approved."

For this reason it is mandatory to send your organizations SDF on proper accredited training to comply with the MICT Seta's regulations

How can I comply with MICT Seta's regulations?

To comply with the regulations set by the MICT Seta you must either have a degree or must have done an SDF training programme.

To register as SDF with the MICT Seta you need to:

    • Attend a SDF Workshop with an accredited training provider and complete a Portfolio of Evidence

    • After assessment of your Portfolio of Evidence you will receive a statement of results from ETDP Seta

    • Complete the registration process on the MICT website

    • Please remember to send a letter confirming your appointment as a SDF to the MICT Seta

    • The MD or CEO of your organization must sign this letter.

    • On receipt of the faxed copy of the letter, the SDF registration will be approved by the MICT Seta.

    • The SDF will be notified via email regarding the status

SDF Workshop saves both the SDF/ISDF and the organization time and money. We believe in a flexible approach to training, as well as maintaining a high standard in the courses offered.
