Graphical decision models via quantile regression

This project is a partnership funded by CNPq (18/2021 Universal) between researchers at UFRJ and CEFET-MG.

Our main goal is to provide decision support to decisions based on Bayesian Networks and extend the modeling to account for robust solutions.

In particular, our project focus on three main areas of interest:

1. Food security,

2. gender inequality, and

3. birth outcomes in the Brazilian health system.

This proposal's essential characteristic is collaborating closely with other researchers from

different backgrounds, such as epidemiologists, economists, nurses, social scientists, etc.

We give particular attention to the final usability of our modeling framework. Thus, we intend to develop a shiny app to allow practitioners to compute the expectations of utilities and compare possible decision routes.
