The Door County Sustainability Fair is presented by Sustain Door, Inc. in cooperation with the Friends of Gibraltar. This year the Fair will be held at the Gibraltar Schools complex in Fish Creek on Saturday, April 18.
The facilities include the High School, the Elementary School and the Door Community Auditorium, one of Door County's premier venues. We will have lots of room indoors and out for exhibits and demonstrations.
Photocells at the Auditorium - off-setting Fair's energy uses
The Northern Door YMCA and The Peninsula School of Art are joining in on the excitement! They are both having activities on their grounds which are just across Highway 42 from Gibraltar School. More information on this soon.
Because of the many sustainable practices that we are incorporating into the planning and conduct of the fair itself we have been certified in the Wisconsin Travel Green Program which encourages tourism and service businesses to find a way to operate which preserves our natural resources.
