Phantasie IV

My favorite role-playing series from SSI was not the Gold Box games nor even the much beloved Wizard's Crown from which they sprang. Rather, it was Phantasie. As much as I loved Phantasie, the Japanese loved it even more. I discovered several years ago that there was a fourth game in the series released only in Japan. While looking around on emulation sites tonight, I found the version for the Sharp X68000. I don't speak or read a word of Japanese, but I thought I'd give an English version of the emulator a try. What did I discover? The title screen!
