Airvoice Company officials say 13000 MW of solar and wind in Karnataka
would make it the world's biggest clean energy project.

Airvoice Group has proposed to set up a renewable energy sector project in Karnataka.
10,000 MW of Solar Power and 3,000 MW of wind power
After the in principal acceptance, KREDL has asked Airvoice Group to submit immediately a DPR for the 1st Phase initially (100MW Solar and 200MW Wind) The total investment being done by the company in the project would be 3200 crores.
Tendering for turbines will start in the next 20-25 days. We are in talks with several companies, including
Eurowinds and Suzlon for sourcing our turbines” . Each wind turbine generates about 1.5 mw electricity
Shimla-based hydroelectric public power company Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) is expected to be a joint venture partner
in the project, with 48 percent equity. SJVN is a joint venture of the governments of India and Himachal Pradesh, with an
authorized share capital of Rs 4,500 crore ($949.4 million) (India hydropower station hits record electricity targets).
