Relay

Overview

The *GEL* RLV Relay is a simple effective RLV Relay designed to support and enhance your RLV-enabled roleplay.

The *GEL* RLV Relay supports:

  Casual Play (Playful)

  Interrogation Mode (Ask Always)

  Hardcore Mode

  Safewording

 Blacklisting devices

 Stats

 AND NOW TRACKING!

The Relay can support and remember RLV restrictions from up to 6 different devices persistently (that is restrictions will continue over logins). The Relay is contextually enabled (it will check on an ongoing basis whether a device enabling restrictions still exists-if the device does not it will free those restrictions).    The device also will auto check if you have other Relays on (NOTE wearing multiple RLV Relays may confuse your viewer and is not recommended). 

The HUD gives a visual representation of the current mode.

• The locking symbol indicates whether or not the HUD is currently enabled.  If the RLV Relay shows a padlock, then it is enabled and will accept remote RLV Commands.

  • The RLV displays the mode it is currently functioning under (Ask Always, Playful, Hardcorel)

  • A status indicator to display whether or not the HUD is being asked currently to enable RLV restrictions: The Status ball is Grey to indicate no RLV restrictions in place, Green to indicate that the RLV HUD is ready to accept restrictions but has not, and Red to indicate that RLV restrictions are currently in-place.

In order to enable the RLV Relay, simply wear it (the HUD will default to the Center position on your HUD display). By default the Relay is "OFF"--it will not accept relay commands for rlv-enabled devices.

Casual Play

In order to accept Casual Play, click on the HUD and Select "Playful". In Playful mode the HUD will accept any RLV command directed at it: However at any time you may click on the HUD and select "Safeword" in order to free yourself from the RLV Restrictions.

Ask Always

In Ask Always mode,the HUD will always inquire whether or not a new device should be allowed to accept RLV restriction requests. If you select "YES" the HUD will remember your choice and continue to accept RLV restrictions in the future from the accepted device.

Hardcode

In Hardcore mode the HUD will accept any RLV retrictions from any device; You will have no recourse to Safewording out so be careful about using this selection!

Off

When the HUD is turned OFF, all accepted devices are forgotten and the relay will not accept any further commands from any remote devices.

Blacklisting

Blacklisting-the ability to instruct the device on which RP items to ignore requests from.

Stats

Stats will inform you of your current RLV version, and tell you what restrictions you may already be under.

Safewording

Safewording-the ability to end RLV restrictions, is allowed in Casual Play and Ask Always modes. When you safeword, any devices currently inflicting RLV restrictions on you will be forgotten.

Tracking

Tracking is our newest addition to the RLV HUD-with tracking turned on, anyone equipped with the RLV Master HUD (Sold Separately) can track and find you (you can toggle tracking on and off). If you're wearing a GEL made device (e.g. collar, blindfold etc.) they can also "control" you (assuming your devices are publically exposed). Tracking can be turned on and off on the relay.
