Posing Product

Overview

 Thank you for your purchase!

GEL/GO-SCI are proud to use the nPose system for the best possible experience in use of your new device. nPose is a free and open source script set which can be used as-is or modified by others.

The nPose script set can be used in any build, commercial or personal as long as the license agreement is followed. nPose is a pose engine and a Prop rezzer which are both robust in themselves.  The nPose system does not use unsightly poseballs.  This will give users a better experience and allow them to sit the furniture as in Real Life rather than sitting on a poseball for effect.

RLV Functions

Many of the products in the GEL furniture and RP equipment lines are RLV enabled

In order to access the RLV Menu

RLV by default is turned "on". If a submissive sits in the RLV controlled position AND they have on an active RLV relay, they have the base RLV set applied to them--(unsit=no)

In order to access the RLV Menu, click on the item and click on RLV

There are multiple options available

1) Manage-allows you to see a list of victims currently on the device and capture new ones

2) Base Off/Base On-turn on and off the RLV restrictions being applied

3) Lock Down- Remove all rights from the sitting submissive

4) Switch bases-switches from the unsit only RLV rights to a more restrictive set that denies tping and im-ing

5) Release--Release all RLV restrictions (lets the submissive stand up)

Selecting a pose

Selecting a pose is actually quite simple. Simply click on the device to receive the menu.

The Menu system presents a listing of the pose categories for that device, along with a utilities menu (and if available an RLV Menu).

Select the category, select the pose and sit.

Most devices are set for the main menu users to sit first (there are some exceptions).

In order to select the next pose, click, select. Note that if you are using an RLV-enabled device--by default the person in the submissive pose will not be able to use the menu system if they are "locked down".

Adjusting a pose

Adjusting Avatar positions is really very simple.  Sit the nPose build, go to the Admin menu and click the Adjust button. Alternaly, under Utilities, click on the GET HUD option. The HUD is a temporary attach item-so it will ask for permission to attach first.

You will see an adjuster prim rez (if it is included in the build) for each seat in the current pose set. While seated on the nPose build, edit and move the adjuster.  You will see the Avatar in this seat move to match the new position of the adjuster.

To perminantly save the adjustments just made, copy the last line which nPose chats out to your local chat window and replace the corresponding line in the notecard.

Alternatively continue adjusting other seats until all are adjusted as they should be and save all seat positions once.

Once you have all the pose prims adjusted the way you wish, click on POSDUMP (either on the HUD or on the Admin Menu). This will tell you the name of the notecard in the device to change and give you a list of each pose along with the position and rotation. Simply copy the settings printed EXACTLY into the notecard in the device. Pose notecards being with DEFAULT: or SET:

In the event that after save avis are thrown off the device, or the pose isn't what you expected-simply edit the notecard again and copy the settings in (likely what's happened is there was an extra space or extra carriage return).

Typical Example:

ANIM|nadu|<0.694912, 0.685036, 0.830294>|<0.000000, 0.000000, -135.002200>|

ANIM|nadu|<-0.762089, 0.736454, 0.830294>|<0.000000, 0.000000, -45.004500>|

ANIM|nadu|<0.693504, -0.711563, 0.830256>|<0.000000, 0.000000, 112.995600>|

ONCE you've copied the pose back into the notecard and save it! Only then will the pose change be permanent.

UTILITIES

The Utilities function provides access to the Admin functions for controlling behavior of the device--and as well allows the user to:

a) Check Used memory--the nPose system is built to optimize memory usage, however its useful at times to know that all systems are working. In the event your device is malfunctioning, check this option and then do a script reset.

b) Change Seat--used to rotate seats across multiple avis in sequential order....e.g. if 3 people are sitting, clicking on Change Seat will rotate 1-2-3 to positions 3-1-2. Clicking again would rotate the positions to 2-3-1.

c) Swap--used for 2 seat posers, will swap people in seats 1 and 2. How do I change textures, get items from the device?

MISC

The Misc Menu provides functions specific to the device (changing textures, receiving items, etc.) It will only be present if this device has these functions.
