Information, collected from different places and a little of my own experience:

Since BSOD codes arent really working in Windows 8.1 pre, I have these informations about instability to share so far:

  • Lack of uncore/Ring volts = fail to load OS, hardlock/freeze doing benches and blackscreen

  • Lack of VCCIN = POST fail or BSOD loading OS

  • Too much VCCIN = 'lost' VGA signal.. CPU "forgets" PCIE link and needs reboot to correct

  • SA voltages are dependent on what type of IC your RAM are, along with quantity of memory and total latency (enough = POST, need more = no POST)
