Madam Zhang's Dream

《春闺梦》是京剧大师程砚秋先生的名剧。中国古代的汉朝末年，诸侯混战。王恢与妻子张氏喜结良缘，不料，夫妻二人正在共享新婚之喜的时候，王恢便被强征入伍。不久，王恢战­死沙场，一去不归。妻子张氏终日在家期盼丈夫的归来，不觉积思成梦。影片通过一种全新的动画艺术形式与中国京剧艺术的有机结合，拓展出一种全新的动画表现形式。影片梦中有­梦，如梦如幻，营造了亦幻亦真的凄美境界。

This work employs coordinated counterpoints of orchestra acoustics with the role qingyi's performance of rhythmical parts in Beijing opera to represent the protagonist's longing for her husband; they also signify her voyage into a complex emotional world of instincts and illusions...
