Practicum Experience

In the practicum for the UW-Stout E-learning and Online Teaching Certificate Program, the emphasis was on understanding practical applications of theory, methods, skills, as we did the real work of teaching online during our E-Learning Internship.

"Each of you will be either teaching in one of UW-Stout's online classes or working directly with me as you teach a course for another institution".

Practicum Internship Assignment:

Mod 7: Synchronous Chat Facilitator Role: I was the facilitator of the red group in my internship course. We discussed the topic of the module and the pros/cons of synchronous chat. After the chat, we had a "debriefing" in the course discussion forum.
