LEGUTKO

LEGUTKO is the most common spelling of the name in the United States.

I have extracted a very large number of records from the archives found in Siemiechow, Tarnow, Poland. The records go back to 1749 and consist of birth, marriage, and death records. There are a lot of "loose branches" that I have not been able to connect to trees. I'm sure there's a record or two that I missed which would connect the LEGUTKO line to my LEGUTKI line. There weren't that many people living in Siemiechow in the 1800s! If you have any information about any of the variants, please get in touch with me!

Results of one of those kiosks you see at fairs and swap meets that "trace" your family name. I could not find any of the books listed in any libraries or private collections, so not too sure about the accuracy of the material. Click here to read.
