Start your adventure right now by volunteering to be an:

Assistant section leader  

Help coordinate the delivery of the Scout's youth program to one of the five sections:

• Joeys (5 – 7 yrs) ... focus is on fun, discovery and friendship

• Cubs (8 – 10 yrs) ... action, adrenalin, adventure

• Scouts (11 – 14 yrs) ... outdoor skills, leadership & youth-led adventures

• Venturers (15 – 17 yrs) ... personal growth & life-changing experiences

• Rovers (18 – 25 yrs) ... seize new opportunities, gain independence, expect the unexpected

Section leaders help plan and deliver youth program activities on a weekly basis and are available to participate in regular weekend activities.

Group Leader (manager of the local Kurilpa Scout Group)

• Oversee the delivery of the Scout's Youth Program

• Support a team of volunteers

• Foster strong community connections and build the profile and reputation of the Kurilpa Scout Group

• Oversee the management of the Kurilpa Scout Den, grounds and assets

We are looking for people with patience and kindness to help grow a strong, supportive group that is 100% run by volunteers.

The Youth Leadership roles are supported by a strong Group Support Committee and our valuable parent volunteers.
