Matrimony in Islam has been the subject of articles in past issues [Vol. 5 No. 4 (1999) and Vol. 3 Nos. 2, 5 and 10 (1997)] of the AL-KUFA Newsletter. Al-Kufa Center of Islamic Knowledge (KCIK) and AL-KUFA Newsletter's editors are dedicated to the service of Islam, Muslims and the community. Toward this purpose, we offer this Matrimonial Personal Listings service. InSha'Allah, it will assist Muslims seeking the qualities and characteristics desired in a potential spouse. We expect and require this service to be used according to the best intention and in compliance with Islamic law. All are welcome to register, as there is no better way to serve the will of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) and the whole of mankind.

The relation between a man and a woman becomes lawful via the contract of marriage. There are several verses throughout the Glorious Qur'an and sayings in the traditions of Nabiy Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi Wasalam) regarding marriage and family values. Muslims are strongly encouraged to be married according to Islamic principles. It is essential to make a sufficient investigation about a prospective spouse to ensure fitness in every respect, so that both may contribute to a strong and lasting contract.

KCIK and the AL-KUFA Newsletter editors are happy to serve those who would like to find a suitable mate through AL-KUFA publications and KCIK’s Website. Marriage services are free of charge; you may help support this service and/or our programs with your kind contributions. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) reward the charitable.
