Suprise Social Afternoon
A surprise afternoon was tendered to Mrs Peter Cornish at her home on Thursday last. A very pleasant time wai arranged by her friends, competitions, singing and an amusing game of forfeits, were enjoyed by all present. A tasty afternoon tea was served, At the close of the afternoon, a very nice handbag was presented to the guest of honour, with the wishes of those present, for her future happiness in her new home at Brighton. Mrs Cornish suitably responded.
